Waldorf Astoria Berlin Begins Welcoming Guests

BERLIN—Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its second European luxury hotel opening—Waldorf Astoria Berlin.

Featuring 232 guestrooms and suites, the hotel sits within the new Zoofenster skyscraper, designed by German architect, Professor Christoph Mäckler. With a total of 32 floors and a height of 118 meters the hotel is crafted from stone and glass and features the city’s highest suite on the top floor.

The hotel’s interior design has been conceived by Parisian agency, Inter Art Etudes, in a contemporary interpretation of art deco style.

Waldorf Astoria Berlin offers several dining and drinking experiences including a restaurant run by Michelin-star, French chef, Pierre Gagnaire. The property also offers a 1,000 square meter Guerlain Spa with eight therapy rooms and venues for meetings, conferences, and events hosting up to 1,200 people, including a 3,550 square foot ballroom and five private rooms and a terrace overlooking the city.
