Trump Gets Into the Wellness Game

In the past year, plenty of hotel brands took initiative and launched wholesome food and lifestyle options for travelers who want to keep up with healthy routines while on the road. And the Trump Hotel Collection is the latest brand to hop on the wellness bandwagon.

The luxury hotel brand will launch the Trump Wellness program next week. The three-pronged approach will focus on food, fitness and accommodating busy lifestyles of travelers.

Nourish, will enhance each hotel’s in-room dining menu and provide guests with vegan, gluten-free and organic selections. A Healthy Kids Menu by Trump will also provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the junior set. Minibars will be revamped with healthier snacks rather than the standard minibar fare. At least one-third of all choices at each hotel will be in a health food category. As part of the Nourish program, Trump’s culinary teams have partnered with organic certifying companies to develop a selection of menu items made with certified organic ingredients that are sourced locally and delivered fresh daily. Trump is also launching an initiative called Quick Bites as part of the wellness program. This will be in-room menu full of healthy options that are guaranteed to be delivered in under 15 minutes. Lastly, the company will roll out Travel Fit, which will provide guests with equipment such yoga mats, stretch bands, and light weights upon request. For guests who forget their workout gear, fitness apparel and footwear from Under Armour will be provided. Another cool perk of the Travel Fit program is the ability for Trump Card Privileges Program guests to designate music genre preferences in their accounts and then borrow a pre-loaded iPod with tailored playlists during workouts.

“TRUMP Wellness is another important step for the Trump Hotel Collection in our effort to create exceptional personalized experiences and options for our guests that are reflective of their lifestyle,” explained Chief Operating Officer Jim Petrus. “With the Trump Wellness program, we are effectively eliminating the challenges that can interrupt a healthy lifestyle when you’re away from home.”
