TownPlace Suites Hotel Opens in Eagle Pass, Texas

EAGLE PASS, Texas—The 80-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Eagle Pass, Texas opened on Thursday, August 23. The hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Baywood Hotels of Greenbelt, Maryland.

“We are pleased to introduce TownePlace Suites hotels in the Eagle Pass area,” said Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager, TownePlace Suites, in an announcement. “Providing an upscale residential atmosphere, this TownePlace Suites hotel offers an appealing alternative to more standard hotel rooms designed for shorter stays.”

Guests and staff interact using a floor-to-ceiling TowneMap that helps guests settle into the local area by featuring places to eat, popular night spots, recreation areas, shopping and services, such as dry cleaners and local car wash outlets.

With a complimentary continental breakfast every morning in the lobby area, as well as 24-hour complimentary On Us coffee service, guests who want a quick snack can also select food and beverage items from the 24-hour access In a Pinch Market.

For travelers who need accommodations for a week or more, this property offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. Each room also features the HomeOffice, designed to provide guests with plenty of storage and flexible space to spread out and make it their own.

Other hotel amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center open 24 hours per day, free wireless Internet throughout the hotel and on-site business services, including copying, faxing, and printing.
