The Colonial Inn of Ogunquit, Maine Completes $4 Million Renovation

OGUNQUIT, Maine—The Colonial Inn of Ogunquit, Maine has completed a $4 million historical renovation. This landmark property, now under new ownership and management, opens this week with completely upgraded facilities.

“It’s a privilege for me to have the opportunity to restore this hotel to its original glory,” explains Maine resident Joe Delois who acquired the property last spring and chose David Lloyd of the Portland firm Archetype Architects to oversee the transformation. “We’ve worked closely with the National Park Service to ensure that the new interior and exterior fixtures and finishes are true to the style of the original building.”

Accommodations at the Colonial Inn are comprised of 62 rooms spread throughout four different buildings. Most rooms in the hotel feature a king bed, a refrigerator, and new furnishings.

Guest amenities at the Colonial Inn include free parking, complimentary property-wide Wi-Fi, complimentary continental breakfast, a heated outdoor pool with patio and hot tub, a large lobby, living room, and a spacious wrap around porch.
