NEW YORK—Sun International Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Boardwalk Hotel and Spa, a five-star property in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The new hotel is scheduled to open in December.
The hotel’s 140 rooms include eight luxury suites and a Presidential Suite. The interior design features soft bright colors such as peach, light green, cream, and floral patterns. The hotel will have one restaurant and two bars, where Sun International’s Asian-inspired buffets will be available for breakfast and dinner.
Also in January 2013, Sun International will open The Maslow, a new landmark 4-star property located in Sandton, Johannesburg’s business center.
