PARIS—Sofitel Luxury Hotels announces the opening of its first address in Casablanca, the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche.
“Sofitel Luxury Hotels has the finest collection of luxury hotels in Morocco with eight exceptional adresses in some of the country’s most beautiful destinations. Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche offers a strategic location and its stunning architecture, which promises to establish the hotel as an iconic address in this vibrant business city,” said Robert Gaymer-Jones Sofitel Worldwide CEO.
Belgian architect Patrick Génard was inspired by the architectural style of the city and sought to create a property to blend in with its surroundings. The hotel’s glass facades, reminiscent of traditional mosaic design, captures the contemporary style of the property while, inside, designers Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet combined the building’s modern style with Moorish ornamentation and a bright color palette.
Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche offers three different culinary experiences: French-Moroccan fusion at L’Arabesque; authentic Moroccan cuisine at L’Atelier d’Orient; and cocktails and light fare at Casart Bar.
Each of the property’s 141 rooms offer views over Casablanca’s Medina, Mosque or coast. Located on the roof of the Tour Blanche, the Penthouse is a suite with private access, panoramic views, duplex bedroom, a 1291 square-foot terrace with Jacuzzi, private dining room, fireplace, a butler, and personal chef.
The 6458 square foot So SPA, which spans two floors offers cardio training, weight training, aqua-weight training, counter-current swimming and aqua-relaxation, as well as a pool, whirlpool, and hammam.
