Sheraton Pittsburgh Unveils $15 Million Renovation

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Pyramid Hotel Group today announced the completion of an extensive $15 million renovation of the Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square. The complete redesign of of the waterfront hotel features 399 transformed guestrooms, including 21 suites, as well as the hotel’s lobby, meeting space, and Trackside Restaurant.

Guestrooms and suites have been modernized to include new furniture, wall-covering, carpeting, and in-room guest safes. All guest rooms offer the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed as well as upgraded decorative lighting and refrigerators. Views from the guestrooms feature Pittsburgh’s skyline, the Monongahela River, or historic Mount Washington as the focal point.

The full lobby redesign includes new carpet, wall covering, lighting, and furniture upgrades. Trackside Restaurant, the hotel’s dining venue, has received a new look offering casual dining in a comfortable setting. The hotel has also refreshed over 30,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space featuring new wall and ceiling upgrades, carpet, and lighting. The centerpiece of the meeting space renovation is the 9,750 square foot ballroom.

At the heart of the transformed lobby, guests will enjoy the signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft, a relaxed space with complimentary wireless broadband. All guestrooms offer an oversized work desk, ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet, and 32-inch flat panel television. Sheraton Club guests enjoy upgraded amenities, as well as complimentary breakfast, beverages, and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge.

Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square is located in the heart of the Station Square business and entertainment district. The hotel is adjacent to 20 restaurants within the Shops at Station Square, Bessemer Court, and the Gateway Clipper Riverboat fleet.
