Orlando World Center Marriott Appoints New F&B Director

KerereORLANDO, Fla.—Orlando World Center Marriott has appointed Ron Kerere as director of food and beverage. In this role, Kerere will oversee all food and beverage operations for the hotel’s 2,009 guestrooms and suites, 10 diverse and seasonally-inspired restaurants and lounges, as well as a multimillion dollar banquet operation for the 450,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Kerere has previously held the roles of assistant director of food and beverage at Morongo Resort in Cabazon, Calif.; beverage manager at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif.; and assistant beverage manager at Sunset Station Hotel & Casino in Henderson, Nev. Most recently, Kerere was general manager of Gaylord Opryland Attractions in Nashville, Tenn.

“Ron’s extensive professional background and expertise within the food and beverage industry make him the ideal choice for this position. We’re thrilled to have him as the newest member of our team,” said Doug Ridge, general manager of Orlando World Center Marriott.

The Orlando World Center Marriott Resort is home to 10 diverse restaurants and lounges, including Mikado’s Japanese Steakhouse, Hawk’s Landing Steakhouse and Grill, Siro: Urban Italian Kitchen, and the family-friendly sports bar, High Velocity.
