Ortbitz Worldwide Inc., an online travel agent, is being put up for sale, according to a new report.
On Jan. 20, Bloomberg released information that the company, which also runs Cheaptickets.com, is working with a financial adviser to find potential buyers. An unnamed source revealed that Orbitz has drawn interest from private equity funds and other internet companies.
