New Wyndham Garden Hotel Debuts in Manhattan’s Chinatown

PARSIPPANY, N.J.—Wyndham Hotel Group announced the addition of the new 106-room Wyndham Garden Chinatown in New York City to the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts portfolio.

The opening of the newly constructed hotel, owned by 93 Bowery Holdings, LLC, and managed by Wyndham Hotel Group’s management company, marks the third Wyndham Garden hotel in New York City and the second in Manhattan Borough. It joins sister properties Wyndham Garden Manhattan Chelsea West in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood and the Wyndham Garden Long Island City Manhattan View across the East River in neighboring Queens.

“It’s exciting to bring another Wyndham hotel to one of the greatest cities in the world, furthering our promise to offer upscale accommodations in top travel markets,” said John Green, brand senior vice president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, in an announcement. “New York City’s tourism scene has been surging and Chinatown, along with the surrounding Lower Manhattan area, is a diverse cultural and social center for travelers to explore. We’re proud to be part of this vibrant community and to provide visitors with a memorable New York experience.”

Guestrooms at Wyndham Garden Chinatown feature 32-inch flat screen televisions, complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, refrigerators, contemporary furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed views of Manhattan’s skyline.

The hotel also offers an atrium with bistro-style seating, an outdoor terrace, an on-site business center, and the 24-hour Blue Harmony Fitness Center.

Elevate Restaurant & Lounge, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers Asian-Fusion cuisine and a full-service bar in a contemporary setting. Room service for hotel guests and banqueting services are also available.

For meetings and events, Wyndham Garden Chinatown offers nearly 1,700 square feet of space for up to 75 event attendees, including a 400-square-foot boardroom for small meetings. Services include audio-visual capabilities, catering, and on-site event planning professionals.
