Nashville’s Union Station Hotel For Sale

The 125-room Union Station Hotel, an Autograph Collection property in downtown Nashville, is under contract to be sold, according to this report in The Tennessean. Atlanta-based hotel brokerage and investment banking firm Hodges Ward Elliott is handling sale, which is expected to close within the next month. With its prime location, convenient to downtown businesses, entertainment venues, and the Vanderbilt campus and Belmont University, in a restored 1900 railway station, the hotel is expected to have a high price tag. Aventura, Fla.-based Turnberry Associates and Nashville-based Corner Partnership bought the hotel from Dallas-based Lone Star Funds nearly nine years ago, the article states, and spent approximately $12 million to renovate the property.
