MainStay Suites PGA Village Becomes Dual-Branded Hotel

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.—The MainStay Suites PGA Village recently completed a large-scale renovation and is now operating as a dual-branded MainStay Suites and Sleep Inn hotel. The 80-room hotel, owned and managed by The Generation Companies, a real estate developer, owner, asset manager and operator of extended-stay hotels, worked with Sleep Inn on a property improvement plan and upgraded not only the designated Sleep Inn-compliant rooms but also the MainStay Suites extended-stay guestrooms. This is Generation’s first dual-brand hotel. The new Sleep Inn rooms feature updated decor including new carpet, beds, flat panel TVs, furniture, and accents. The extensive renovation included all public areas and a bigger, better complimentary breakfast.

According to Generation Regional Operations Manager Rick Stroud, uniting two hotels under one roof gives travelers a broader product offering. “Now travelers have two choices in one hotel–the traditional Sleep Inn hotel and the MainStay Suites extended-stay option–both at attractive price points,” he explained. “The biggest benefit to the traveling customer is value. Our guests will enjoy a reasonably-priced, newly renovated accommodation with a nice breakfast and the added peace of mind of name recognition. Sleep Inn is a known and trusted name brand that guarantees your stay, 100% satisfaction or your money back.”

The modern Sleep Inn rooms are traditional hotel rooms and include a microwave, mini fridge, and free high-speed Internet access. The MainStay Suites extended-stay guestrooms are suites and feature a kitchen, a large work area with bright task lighting and free, wireless Internet access. The hotel offers on-site guest laundry facilities, an exercise room, complimentary hot breakfast, and an outdoor swimming pool.
