Loews Hotels & Resorts Promotes Monica Xuereb to Chief Revenue Officer

NEW YORK, NY—Loews Hotels & Resorts announced on Sept. 17 the promotion of Monica Xuereb to chief revenue officer, responsible for supporting all revenue processes for Loews Hotels.

In her new role, she will lead the strategy for generating more efficient, predictable, and profitable revenue in support of the brand’s long- and short-term growth goals, along with developing a data-driven revenue management culture within the brand that expands to all revenue streams.

Xuereb joined Loews Hotels & Resorts in 2013 as vice president of revenue management following a period of entrepreneurship supporting independent hoteliers and hotel groups such as Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Rosewood, Morgans, and Dorchester Collection. Previously, she was vice president of revenue management of the International for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she oversaw the yield strategies of 34 Ritz Carlton and Bvlgari Hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with over $1.5 billion in annual top line revenue.

“Under Monica’s expert leadership we have established a revenue management culture which is helping us to achieve our financial objectives,” said Paul Whetsell, president & CEO of Loews Hotels & Resorts. “In her new role, Monica will look at total hotel revenue management and profitability, maximizing all revenue streams and channels throughout our system.”
