Loews Hotels Names Jim Cone SVP of Marketing

JimConeNEW YORK, NY—Loews Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Jim Cone as senior vice president of marketing. With more than a 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, Cone will oversee many disciplines of marketing for the hotel group, including advertising, brand strategy, direct marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), partnerships, loyalty program development, and other initiatives to draw leisure, business, and group travelers to 22 Loews properties across the U.S. and Canada.

Cone joins Loews Hotels & Resorts following nearly a decade with Hilton Worldwide, most recently serving as vice president of global customer promotions. Among his responsibilities, Cone oversaw global direct marketing and promotional strategies supporting over 4,000 hotels across 10 brands. He previously served as vice president of brand marketing for Hilton Garden Inn, where he was responsible for developing brand strategy, brand marketing and the launch of the brand throughout EMEA and APAC.

Cone got his start in the hotel industry in various operational positions at the Grand Hyatt New York, including director of convention services.
