Lexington Legacy Adds the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel

Having already brought on two hotels to its Lexington Legacy soft brand this year, Lexington by Vantage announced another addition—the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel. It is the first casino and full-service hotel in Las Vegas for Lexington’s member-driven parent company, Vantage Hospitality Group.

The D opened in October 2012 and offers 638 remodeled rooms and suites and a two-level casino. Its owners have now chosen to affiliate with the Lexington Legacy brand, which allows the D to maintain its name and freedom while adding the resources of Vantage Hospitality.

“The D’s partnership with Lexington Legacy allows us to align with a national hotel brand without sacrificing our unique identity. We’re excited for the opportunity to expand our reach and the potential for greater revenue and occupancy,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of the D Las Vegas.

“Derek and his partners have done a remarkable job of creating a new environment at the D that fits into the revitalized downtown area. They also realize that joining a soft brand like Lexington Legacy will take them to the next level. With Vantage as a strategic partner, we are confident that we can add additional room nights from various sources; improve their bottom line through revenue management, channel management and placement; use our vast marketing resources to increase exposure; and provide operating cost savings via Vantage’s network of preferred vendors,” said Roger Bloss, founder, CEO and president of Vantage.

The hotel features numerous onsite restaurants and bars, as well as four shows. Banquet and meeting facilities are also available for up to 300 people.
