Holiday Inn Express Opens in Philadelphia

ATLANTA—IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) announced the opening of the new Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia E – Penn’s Landing, which underwent a $4 million conversion.

Renovations include updates to each of the 184 guestrooms, a fully remodeled lobby, a new business center, and an exercise room. The 10-story hotel is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia and offers a free shuttle for its guests to popular historic attractions.

Guestrooms feature contemporary styling, a 32-inch HD flat screen TV, comfortable queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, and an in-room coffee machine featuring complimentary Smart Roast 100% Arabica coffee. Travelers will also find in-room desks with ergonomic chairs, free high-speed Internet access and free local phone and toll free, phones with private voicemail and complimentary USA TODAY newspapers. In addition to its 24-hour business center, the hotel also has meeting facilities.
