Hilton Hotels & Resorts Welcomes Hotel Tampa To Portfolio

TAMPA, Fla.—Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide, announced its second property in Tampa, Fla., with the reflagging of Hyatt Regency Tampa as Hotel Tampa, an affiliate of Hilton.

Prior to being renamed Hilton Tampa Downtown in 2013, the hotel will undergo extensive renovations to the guestrooms, lobby, common areas, ballroom, meeting spaces, fitness center, and administrative offices. Hotel Tampa joins Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore, Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park, Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront and Hilton Clearwater Beach as the fifth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the Tampa Bay Area.

“Located in the heart of downtown Tampa, Hotel Tampa expands our presence along the west coast of Florida. This hotel is an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers due to its location near museums, business facilities, entertainment and dining,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

The hotel features 521 guestrooms and amenities such as an outdoor pool, fitness center, Avanzare Lobby Bar and Restaurant, and Starbucks Coffee onsite. The property also offers 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and a modern business center.
