Gstaad Palace’s Revamped Deluxe and Tower Suites

The iconic Gstaad Palace in Switzerland recently renovated its Deluxe and Tower Suites (see photo gallery below). The goal of this renovation was to bring the surrounding Swiss region to life throughout the six suites. The property is the one of the only remaining palaces in the charming chalet town, which celebrated its 100th birthday last year. Marina Nickels is the interior designer behind the project.

The Bernese Alps captured outside every guestroom window are now framed with embroidered silk curtains streaming from the ceiling to the floor. Vintage wooden beams accent the ceilings, spacious walk-in closets have been added, and a softer color palette of oaks, crisp whites, and coffees offers a calming ambiance. To accentuate the cozier atmosphere, locally produced furnishings tell the story of the Gstaad region.
