Embassy Suites Salt Lake/West Valley City Celebrates Opening

MCLEAN, Va.—Embassy Suites Hotels introduced the new upscale, full-service, all-suites Embassy Suites Salt Lake/West Valley City to local officials and community members with a grand opening event. Located at 3524 S. The seven-story hotel was developed by West Valley Lodging Initiatives LLC and will be managed by Renascent Hospitality.

The property has been the focal point of a multi-million dollar, multi-phase revitalization project in downtown West Valley City, and brings 162 suites and 7,500 square feet of meeting space to the downtown area.

The hotel is the cornerstone of Fairbourne Station, a $500 million mixed-use development encompassing 40 acres in the heart of West Valley City. The upper upscale hotel joins 200,000-square-feet of retail space, 200,000-square-feet of office space, 1,000 urban residences and Fairbourne Station Promenade, which features four acres of urban lineal park and a plaza space.

“We are excited to bring a full-service lodging option to the West Valley City area,” said Embassy Suites Salt Lake/West Valley City’s general manager, Jim Burkett. “Just off Interstate 215, this all-suite hotel puts both business and leisure travelers looking for an upper upscale option in close proximity to Salt Lake City and the airport, in addition to some of the area’s biggest corporations and top attractions such as the historic venues of the 2002 Winter Olympics.”

Embassy Suites Salt Lake/West Valley City was constructed in the brand’s Design Option III style, which decreases the amount of land needed and creates efficiencies for both construction and operational costs a variety of side-by-side suites and one-room suites, as well as a contemporary atrium area. The property offers a complimentary business center, an indoor saline pool and spa, and fitness center.
