Embassy Row Hotel to Begin Complete Renovation

ROCKVILLE, Md.—Jonathan Nehmer + Associates (JN+A) and HVS Design are pleased to announce the start of the total renovation of the Embassy Row Hotel in Washington, D.C. JN+A and HVS Design are providing architecture, interior design, and project management services for the complete transformation of the property.

Located in the District’s Dupont Circle neighborhood, the Embassy Row Hotel features 231 guestrooms and approximately 6,650 square feet of meeting space. The hotel’s guestrooms, corridors, public areas, meeting space, fitness center, and front entrance will receive a total transformation including moving the lobby to another floor and the addition of a 24-hour barista station, restaurant, and bar. The charm and diversity of Washington, D.C., are integrated throughout the design of the boutique hotel.

Construction on the $15 million renovation has recently started. The renovation is scheduled to be finished in spring 2015. In June 2014, the hotel opened its new rooftop pool and bar, the first phase of the renovation.

The Embassy Row Hotel is owned and operated by Destination Hotels and Resort.
