Courtyard Miami Beach Announces New Oceanfront Tower

MIAMI—The Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront, formerly known as the “Cadillac Hotel,” announced that its new 93-guestroom oceanfront tower is set to be completed in Fall 2013.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience and provide them with an unforgettable Miami stay,” General Manager Joseph LaFleur said. “Our new oceanfront tower will give guests even more opportunities to experience our beautiful ocean views from the comfort of their spacious and well-appointed rooms.”

The 263-room hotel was originally constructed as the art deco Cadillac Hotel. After a complete restoration in 2004, the Cadillac Hotel reopened. Guestrooms were renovated in 2009, followed by the lobby and public areas in 2011, under ownership of Hersha Hospitality Trust and management by HHM.

The lobby now offers a new 32-foot lobby bar and lounge and the hotel gym was upgraded with added workout programming and a complete redesign of the main pool area. A new pool is also being constructed as a part of the new Oceanfront tower.

An meeting space will be added to the new Oceanfront Tower and is slated to accommodate up to 100 featuring high ceilings, and 2,200 square feet of space.
