Courtyard Chicago Downtown/River North Completes Lobby Renovation

CHICAGO—The 337-room Courtyard Chicago Downtown/River North recently completed a major million-dollar redesign of its lobby. The Chicago hotel near Magnificent Mile now features Courtyard’s new refreshing business lobby concept.

The lobby now features contrasting colors and separate welcome pedestals to create more personal interactions when guests check in.

A signature element is the GoBoard technology, a 52-inch LCD touch screen featuring local information, maps, weather and news, business and sports headlines. Guests can navigate using the touch screen to find restaurants, local attractions, and directions.

As a downtown Chicago meeting facility, an enlarged business library features free Wi-Fi, several complimentary computer terminals, electrical outlets, a free printer and computer stations dedicated to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight statuses.
