COVINA, Calif.—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group announced the further expansion of the Park Inn by Radisson brand in North America with the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson, Covina, Calif.

“The opening of the second Park Inn by Radisson in California represents the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn by Radisson as a winning midscale brand in North America,” said Scott Meyer, senior vice president, midscale brands, Americas.

The brand has grown to more than 125 hotels in operation globally with 65 hotels currently in development.

The Park Inn by Radisson Covina offers 246 standard rooms, 10 one-bedroom suites, and two presidential suites with views of a courtyard and pool. Many suites also offer the Sleep Number beds that allow guests to adjust the firmness of the mattress.

Hotel amenities include an on-site fitness center, an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a gift shop, dry cleaning service, room service, 3-hour express laundry service and free, high-speed, wireless Internet access. The hotel offers on-site dining options, including a full American breakfast and Hamilton’s Steakhouse.
