2011 Innovators: Biodegradable Packaging | Concept Amenities
Concept Amenities developed a range of toiletries under its ERP (environmentally responsible product) logo. Plastic packaging for its guest amenity lines is created using an organic-based additive, Eco Pure, which allows the packaging to fully biodegrade to water and carbon dioxide within a few years under normal landfill conditions. Among these bath and body product lines for hotel guests is Jean-Michel Cousteau by Maricoid, which features paraben-free liquids and soaps formulated with 100 percent organic seaweed extract.
