The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Adds Resort in Aruba

 MIAMI, Fl.—The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. has unveiled plans for The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba, situated on Palm Beach. The resort will offer 320 rooms and suites, four dining outlets, a 13-treatment room spa, two swimming pools, and a 24-hour casino. The hotel will also include The Ritz-Carlton Club Level, a private floor accessible only by elevator key, offering a selection of light fare and dedicated concierge service throughout the day.
The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba, projected to open in late 2013, will be the seventh location in The Ritz-Carlton’s portfolio of properties in the Caribbean and Mexico, joining existing hotels in St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the first Reserve property in the Americas, Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
“Aruba is an island destination with growing appeal to discerning travelers from Europe, the United States and South America. Its stunning beaches and majestic views make the island one of those exceptional places in the Southern Caribbean, blending serenity and scenic attractions that our guests seek when planning a vacation,” said Mark Ferland, area vice president, Southeast Region, Caribbean and Latin America, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., in an announcement. “It is an extraordinary location to debut Aruba’s premier luxury resort,” added Ferland.
The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba will also offer meeting facilities, with indoor and outdoor venues, including a ballroom, boardroom poolside decks, manicured lawns, and beachfront reception area.
