The 118-room hotel will be part of Sabana Business Center, a 20-story mixed-use complex comprising offices, retail stores and shared parking. The hotel will take up floors 12 to 20, with food and beverage services and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
"We are pleased to be able to deliver the industry-leading Hilton Garden Inn to the San José market," said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn. "The Hilton Garden Inn San José Sabana will be part of an exciting mixed development while still adhering to the high standards for which the brand is known. This complements our international growth strategy well, specifically in the Central and South American markets."
The property will be the brand's second hotel in Costa Rica, joining the Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport. Currently, the brand has four hotels open and seven hotels in the development pipeline in Central and South America.
