First Upscale Wyndham Hotel Opens in Turkey

 ISTANBUL—Wyndham Hotel Group announced the introduction of its upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand to Turkey with the opening of the newly constructed, 210-room Wyndham Istanbul Kalamis Marina, located on the Asian coast of Istanbul.
The opening of the franchised hotel, owned by Reisler Deri Sanayi Ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi, adds to Wyndham Hotel Group’s presence in Turkey, joining 12 hotels currently open and operating under the Ramada brand. The company plans to welcome its second Wyndham hotel in the country, the 306-room Wyndham Istanbul Petek, in summer 2013.

The five-star hotel features 210 rooms over five floors, including specially designed family suites, as well as fourteen multi-functional meeting rooms, including a ballroom which can accommodate up to 750 guests. The Blue Harmony Spa offers treatment rooms, a sauna, hammam, and traditional Turkish baths. The fitness center offers workout equipment, separate gym, and play area designed especially for children.
Additional hotel amenities and services include complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, 24-hour business center, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. On-site dining outlets include five restaurants and cafés offering a variety of cuisines throughout the day and 24-hour room service.
