DoubleTree by Hilton Opens Latest Hotel in Northeast China

SHENYANG, LIAONING PROVINCE, China—DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the grand opening of its newest property in China, DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang, which offers 389 guestrooms, including 25 suites; two restaurants; a lobby lounge; a 24-meter heated indoor swimming pool; and an eforea:spa at Hilton.

"The establishment of DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang will introduce a new level of hospitality to visitors to the city, and is very much in line with our strategy to provide outstanding hotel offerings in key cities in China, as much as around the globe," said Rob Palleschi, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, in an announcement.

"Shenyang is one of the most important bases for heavy industry in China. Due to its rapidly growing economy, rich culture and active commerce, it attracts many visitors from around the world and we are excited to enter this booming market," said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide. "The establishment of the DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang marks the entry of our third brand in Northeast China, following the opening of Hilton and Conrad Dalian earlier this year."

The guestrooms range from 36 square meters for Standard rooms to 43 square meters for Executive rooms. All rooms feature a separate work area with high-speed Internet access, flat-screen television, signature DoubleTree by Hilton Sweet Dreams bed, bathroom with separate shower, and bath tub. The 25 suites come with Executive Lounge access.

The hotel also features 2,400 square meters of meeting and banquet space for up to 1,200 guests, including one pillar-less Grand Ballroom and 18 meeting rooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang's recreation facilities include a 24-meter heated indoor swimming pool and fitness club by Precor featuring quality exercise equipment.

The hotel offers the second eforea:spa at Hilton location in China. This spa concept from Hilton Worldwide combines three distinct ranges of treatments focused on organic, natural and scientific, results-driven practices. DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang's eforea spa provides guests with six single spa suites, two couples' spa suites, relaxation areas, foot massage and manicure/pedicure lounges, and extensive thermal facilities including aromatherapy steam rooms and experience showers.
