DoubleTree by Hilton Opens First Hotel in Hyannis

 MCLEAN, Va.—DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of a newly renovated, upscale full-service hotel situated in Cape Cod. The 160-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cape Cod - Hyannis is owned and operated by Ridgewood Hotel Associates, Inc. under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
Renovations to the DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod - Hyannis were completed in all areas of the hotel. Guestrooms feature new carpeting, window treatments, furniture, and bedding in muted shades of blue, beige, and brown. Guest room bathrooms were redone in their entirety. Patterned carpets, new lighting, and window treatments are new elements in the function space which includes a new 2,400 square foot meeting room. The lobby a fireplace, business center, and new lobby lounge. An outdoor pool has been added in the landscaped courtyard, as well as an outdoor fire pit and seating area.
In an announcement, Rob Palleschi, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said, “DoubleTree by Hilton now invites our loyal travelers to stay with us in the heart of Cape Cod. The newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod-Hyannis extends our commitment to welcoming the world’s travelers in popular destinations and providing a comfortable, amenity-rich hotel experience for all types of travel.”
The guestrooms at the property feature a single king size or two double beds; granite bathrooms; mini fridge; complimentary wireless high-speed internet access (also in public areas); work desks with ergonomic chairs; 42-inch, high-definition, LCD TVs; and MP3-compatible alarm clocks.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod-Hyannis offers 11,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. The hotel’s Regatta meeting room, the largest at 4,352 sq. ft, can accommodate up to 450 guests theatre-style or 300 banquet guests for business and social events. The hotel also has a 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service that includes “print-from-your room” convenience. For guests who wish to keep up with their workout program while traveling a 10,000 sq. ft. fitness center and outdoor and indoor swimming pools are available.
