HONG KONG—Wyndham Hotel Group announced that it reached the 500th property
milestone in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of the Super 8
Nanjing Shan Xi Lu in China’s Jiangsu Province.
Just seven years
after it celebrated its 50th property opening in the region, Wyndham
Hotel Group’s portfolio now includes over 70,000 rooms in Asia Pacific
under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Howard Johnson, Days
Inn, Super 8, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Dream hotel
brands.
“As we celebrate this
significant achievement, we are incredibly thankful for our partners and
franchisees who believe in and support our Wyndham Hotel Group at every
turn,” Bob Loewen,
Wyndham Hotel Group’s executive vice president and CFO, who oversees
operations and development efforts outside of North America, said in an announcement.
