Ed Gannon, Four Seasons Austin
Ed Gannon, Four Seasons Austin
After nine years, veteran hospitality executive Ed Gannon is returning to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as hotel manager at Four Seasons Hotel Austin. Gannon's history with Four Seasons started in 1997 when he joined the company as executive chef at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. During his six years at the downtown property, he was highly regarded for his culinary skills and innovation as well as his leadership throughout the hotel. He then worked as the executive chef and resort manager at the Winnetu Oceanside Resort on Martha's Vineyard. In 2007, he left New England and served as resort manager for Caneel Bay and Jumby Bay in the Caribbean, both part of Rosewood Resorts. After four years, Gannon and his family returned to the States so he could take the hotel manager position at Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California. As hotel manager at Four Seasons Hotel Austin, Gannon will assist General Manager Rob Hagelberg in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property.
