Autograph Collection Featured On Season Finale of "The Pitch"
Hotel brands know that the right advertising campaign can be key in attracting business and getting people interested in what they have to offer.
And it looks like the Autograph Collection, Marriott's portfolio of independent hotels, is getting pretty serious about branding and finding the right advertising agency to come up with a killer creative campaign.
On Sunday's season finale of the AMC docu-series "The Pitch," two competing ad agencies will go head to head to compete for the Autography Collection's business. "The Pitch" premiered this year on the network and gives viewers a glimpse into the high-stakes, competitive world of modern-day advertising.
"Autograph Collection is thrilled to be a part of this innovative, new series on AMC," said Amanda Altree, senior director of marketing for Autograph Collection, in an announcement. "Growth has been rapid since our 2011 launch and participating in 'The Pitch' is an ideal opportunity to access some of the most creative minds in the business to help us continue telling our story."
Although the brand's relationship with the Marriott International family has already given the Autograph Collection clout in the hospitality arena the brief for Sunday's episode will challenge the competing agencies to present the hotels within the collection as a contrast to the globally recognized chain that is its parent company.
The two agencies competing to win the campaign are Bandujo and Jones Advertising. Check out the preview clip of the episode and make sure to tune in Sunday night at 11 p.m. on AMC, directly following the season finale of "Mad Men."
